Genoise Sponge Cake

Practiced baking genoise with Yen on Wednesday,
since i dont have any machine at home,
we used hand...
fucking tiring :(
























I even squad  down to whip it coz hand too tired







































The pastry cream was a fail,
and whip cream does not form.
So.... the cake facial expression showing how we feel.



























Had our exam on Friday.
I did everything perfectly.
the whip cream nicely done,
the pastry cream nicely cooked,
genoise reach sabayon stage and folded the flour in just nice.
Just one thing, ONE, spoiled almost everything!
I mixed up the sugar between the genoise sponge cake and the pastry cream.
making the pastry cream taste TOO sweet,
And my genoise sponge cake became hard and wont rise as much.
What a failure.
I hope chef joyce will pity me after i made my presentation.
